In accordance with the provisions of Section 57 (3) (a) of the St Lucia Constitution Order 1978, Mrs. Cynthia C.F. Combie Martyr has been appointed the new Chairperson to serve on the Saint Lucia Electoral Commission effective November 1, 2014

Two Young Workers of the Saint Lucia Electoral Department  to participate  in a Junior Elections Professional (JEP)Caribbean and Americas Training Event to be held in Kingston, Jamaica from the 22-27 September, 2014 : under the theme, “Strengthening Electoral Democracy in the Commonwealth Caribbean”.

Participants are expected to depart Saint Lucia for Jamaica on 19th September, 2014
